Sarla Aviation Collaborates with Himalayan Heli Services to Shape the Future of Aerial Mobility in Challenging Terrains

Sarla Aviation is all set to join hands with Himalayan Heli Services to take regional air mobility to new heights.

HHS has been a significant name of aerial connectivity to some of India’s most significant pilgrimage destinations, including 'Vaishno Devi', 'Amarnath', and 'Kedarnath'. With its proven operational expertise, an impeccable safety record, and a robust heliport network across North India, HHS stands as the ideal partner in Sarla Aviation’s vision to redefine how India flies in challenging terrains.

Through this partnership, the two companies will explore:

- Performance trials of VTOL aircraft on key North Indian routes
- Use of HHS’s established heliports and infrastructure for VTOL take-off and landing
- Potential fleet integration of VTOLs at HHS, subject to Sarla Aviation meeting regulatory and commercial milestones

Adrian Schmidt (CEO & Co-Founder) and Payal Satish (VP – Business Development & Strategy), Sarla Aviation, with the senior leadership of Himalayan Heli Services.

The collaboration will also involve close coordination with Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), and state aviation departments to establish clear regulatory pathways and enable future deployment. As Sarla moves into its next phase of development, this marks another step in our ongoing collaborations to redefine access, connectivity, and resilience in regional aviation.
