Sarla Aviation and JetLine Collaborate on Next-Gen Mobility

Everyone talks about flying taxis, but building the ecosystem around them is the real game-changer. From vertiports and route permissions to public trust and real-world adoption, no single player can solve it all. Each partnership brings in the expertise and connections needed to move Urban Air Mobility (UAM) from vision to reality in India.

Sarla Aviation is excited to announce a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the JetLine Group, a diversified conglomerate with roots dating back to the 1930s in Bangkok, Thailand, and a presence in India since 1974. Rajan Navani, Chairman & Managing Director of JetLine Group, is personally leading the group’s global foray into new-age businesses through their flagship company, JetSynthesys.

The MOU was signed by Chandresh Sampat, Head of Global Investments, M&A and Corporate Development at JetSynthesys Pvt. Ltd., and Payal Satish, Vice President, Business Development & Strategy at Sarla Aviation. The partnership marks a significant milestone as both organizations work together to build the infrastructure and operational framework necessary for UAM adoption across India.

Key areas of collaboration:

1. Infrastructure Development

  • Joint exploration and conceptualisation of verti-ports in key urban and semi-urban centres across Maharashtra, Goa, and Gujarat.

  • Identification of potential real estate, feasibility analysis, and developer support.

2. Route Mapping & Operations

  • Evaluation and design of potential UAM routes to address regional connectivity gaps, tourism corridors, and high-congestion areas.

  • Traffic pattern analysis, fleet planning, and operating model selection (public-private, franchise, or direct operations).

3. Public Acceptance & Community Engagement

  • Design and execution of joint initiatives to build public trust, safety awareness, and adoption readiness for UAM.

  • Pilot programs, educational campaigns, and stakeholder consultations to ensure community engagement and acceptance.

Payal Satish, VP of Business Development & Strategy at Sarla Aviation, said:

"The future of mobility belongs to the next generation. Partnering with JetLine Group allows us to combine expertise, infrastructure, and community engagement efforts to make UAM a safe, accessible, and trusted reality in India."

This collaboration is a significant step forward in realising Sarla Aviation’s vision of making urban air mobility an integrated, sustainable, and widely adopted solution for India’s growing transportation challenges.
